Comprehensive Services

College Essay: Express Package
Families that choose the College Essay: Express Package are looking for a quick but thorough review of one (1) already-drafted college essay and up to two (2) supplementals. This package will help your student take their college essays through multiple edits and revisions, ending with polished products that capture your student’s unique qualities and enhance their college applications.
The express package includes at least one (and sometimes more than one) virtual or in-person consult, along with multiple revising and editing iterations with thorough feedback provided throughout the process. Editing, feedback, and revision suggestions are made in a digital, asynchronous manner to promote ongoing and immediate improvement.
This package is designed for high school seniors who already have a first-draft essay (typically in response to one common app prompt).

College Essay: Complete Package
Families that choose the College Essay: Complete Package are seeking support with the entire college essay process, including brainstorming, drafting, editing, and revising college essays and supplementals. We will spend time getting to know your student, help them select appropriate prompts, and support their entire drafting, revising, and editing process.
The complete package includes a total of 8 hours of support. We typically begin with several virtual or in-person sessions to brainstorm and begin drafting. Once students enter the drafting phase, we mix live sessions with digital, asynchronous editing and feedback. The whole process includes multiple iterations of revising and editing, ending when students submit their essays along with college applications.
This package is designed for high school juniors and first-semester seniors who have not yet begun the college essay planning process.

Comprehensive College Application Support
If your student needs an accountability partner, this plan is for you! Families that choose Comprehensive College Application Support receive one-on-one guidance throughout the full application process.
The comprehensive package includes a total of 16 hours of support. We help your student navigate every step along the way. Together, we identify a list of “great fit” colleges, refine their activity list and/or resume to showcase their strengths and unique qualities, and craft college essays and supplementals that reflect their individual voice. Because this package is comprehensive in nature, we also get to know you and your student’s individual needs and provide targeted support in the areas where it’s needed most.
This package is designed for high school juniors.

Junior Jump-start
This service is designed for high school juniors who want to jump-start their journey to college. This is an exciting option because it allows your student to work one-on-one with a college coach to start planning their unique path to college. It includes two, (2) one-hour sessions.
During the first one-hour session, your coach will share an organizational tool to help your student navigate the many steps of the college application process. We’ll discuss how to research and identify great-fit colleges, how to ask teachers to write amazing letters of recommendation, how to start planning for college essays, and other steps your student needs to take to enter their senior year 100% ahead of the game.
During the second one-hour session, we’ll check in on your student’s progress on their college planning organizational tool. We’ll refine their college list so it includes safety, match, and stretch schools. We’ll also examine their high school resume and discuss ways to maximize the rest of their junior year, the summer before their senior year, and the first semester of their senior year to set them up for college success.
